Lip lift (philtrum reduction)
A lip lift shortens a long philtrum, the distance between the base of the nose and the upper lip. AVANT lists four methods, including one through an incision inside the mouth and one with incisions hidden inside the nostrils. Each takes 20–40 minutes under local anaesthesia (clinic guidance).
